タイム風呂敷 Time Travel Cloth
年下（いくつもかわらないけど）の友人から、何度も「三十歳はどう？」って聞かれるけれど、そんなことわからない。たとえば、ドラえもんがいて、タイム風呂敷かなにかで、二十歳のときに一瞬だけ三十歳を体験したらなら答えられるかもしれない。でも、現実には毎年一歳ずつ年を取っていくから自分自身ではわからない。でも一つだけ言えることは、三十歳まで生きることができて幸せなんだと思う。だって、ただ単にいろんな偶然が重なって今現在いるわけだから。

From a younger (I don't even know by how much) friend of mine, I'm constantly asked "How is it being 30?", but I have no idea. For example, take Doraemon and with his 'Time Travel Cloth' change from being 20 to 30 in a single moment, and you might be able to answer that question. But, in reality, each year we only grow older by a single year, and so one cannot actually know for certain. But there is one thing that I can say. I think I am happy to have lived to 30. Because - and it's simply because - of all the fortuity that has built up until the present, where I am currently at.
